    Biography

    Kara Ellerby, PhD (University of Arizona, 2011) joined the Department in 2011 with a joint appointment in Women's Studies. Her research interests include Women, Gender and Security, Women and Peace Agreements, Women in Post-Conflict, and Norms and Gender Norms. This year she is teaching the following classes: Gender and Politics, Introduction to International Relations and Feminist International Relations Theory. Professor Ellerby served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique from 2004 to 2006.
