Biography
My research focuses on improving the way that community agencies, particularly the criminal legal system, respond to intimate partner violence against women. I am currently involved with a multi-site, longitudinal study of battered women's experiences within the criminal legal system and their long-term safety. Much of my research has been guided by my volunteer experiences doing crisis intervention and court support for survivors of domestic violence.
